Laura Sedrish is a highly experienced Senior Attorney at AlderLaw. She has represented plaintiffs, defendants, corporations, and individuals in litigation and transactional matters since 1995. Ms. Sedrish is an accomplished negotiator and advocate for her clients on a wide variety of issues, and has successfully serviced both U.S. and international clients for their varied litigation needs in numerous complex matters throughout her career. She has been with AlderLaw since 2009, and now proudly represents plaintiffs only, who have been catastrophically injured.
Before joining AlderLaw, she regularly represented multinational corporations, movie studios, and high-profile individuals, and achieved successful outcomes for her clients in cases involving negotiation of agreements, breach of contract, defamation, fraud, intellectual property, and personal injury. Her scrupulous attention to detail, dynamic advocacy for her clients, negotiation skills, and acute understanding of each client’s unique needs make her a vital part of AlderLaw.
Ms. Sedrish has been a licensed attorney for over 20 years, and obtained her Juris Doctorate from University of California at Los Angeles Law School after earning her Bachelor of Science degree at Duke University in Durham, NC. Ms. Sedrish is rated a “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers of Southern California and was named a “Top 100” Super Lawyer in Southern California in 2017 and 2018, as well as a “Top 50 Women Lawyer” in Southern California in 2016, 2017, and 2018. She is a sought after speaker and has published articles in the largest regional markets in the United States. Ms. Sedrish devotes her free time in educating and promoting women in the law and currently serves on the Board of Governors of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association for Justice. She is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court.
Ms. Sedrish has resided with her husband and two children in Los Angeles for over two decades, and was the Founding Board Chair and President of Greenway Arts Alliance, a successful non-profit corporation promoting theatre arts in education for disadvantaged youth. Greenway was founded in 1997 and unites communities through art, education and social enterprise.
